About[edit | edit source]

Fire Emblem The Blazing Blade (Known as Fire Emblem Rekka no Ken in Japan, and simply "Fire Emblem" outside of Japan) is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance handheld video game console in 2003. It is the seventh entry in the Fire Emblem series, and the first to be localized outside of Japan. The gameplay focuses on tactical movement to defeat enemy units and/or clear map goals. The title boasts a cast of characters with varying classes and personality, different difficulty settings, and a "support" system for character backstories and chemistry development, which could lead to different endings for each character, and boosts characters' in-game capabilities when within a certain radius of another character.
